A German nun of the Sisters of Charity of the Holy Cross, Ulrica Nisch achieved sainthood by serving primarily in the kitchen.
Biography
Born into a very poor family, she worked from a young age to help support her ten siblings. In the community he carried out heavy labor with joy, delicacy and a continuous prayer that went unnoticed by many. Sick of tuberculosis, she lived her last months without bitterness. His life showed that mercy can give a lot without humiliating or demanding anything in return.
