Vincent Pallotti (1795–1850)
Missionary Founding Priest
Roman priest and founder of the Union of the Catholic Apostolate, Vicente Pallotti proclaimed that the mission of the Church corresponds to all the baptized.
Biography
He worked in the formation of the clergy, spiritually guided numerous people, cared for the poor and sick, and promoted missions and works of charity. He brought together priests, religious, and lay people to collaborate according to their own gifts, anticipating broad apostolic participation. His zeal was born from the contemplation of God's infinite love and he sought to revive faith and charity in all environments.
