Catechist
A school teacher and catechist in Hornachuelos, Spain, this young woman had a great apostolic spirit despite the climate of hatred of religion that was felt in that country.
Biography
She founded Catholic Women's Action, and was a pioneer in women's education in that town. Despite the fear she felt, she continued her practices of piety and her apostolate, until she was arrested, and along with other detainees, taken on foot along mountain roads to an old mine. Along the way, he tried to spread the peace and hope that the Holy Spirit communicated to him, with these words: "Courage, hurry! The prize awaits us... I see heaven open." After a mock trial, they were all sentenced to death and Victoria, on her knees, died shouting: Long live Christ the King! She was beatified by John Paul II on October 10, 1993.
