Life of Gaza (†625)
Bishop
Saint Vital was sixty years old when, aware that women of bad life are also called to the kingdom of heaven, he decided to dedicate himself to helping them.
Biography
He made friends with them and treated them with kindness and mercy. He suffered a lot of misunderstanding for this apostolate, but his bishop supported him. He died at the hands of an exploiter of women who felt harmed by the saint's apostolic work. He left a written tablet that said: “Citizens of Alexandria, do not wait for tomorrow to convert, but wait for the day of final judgment to judge.”
Practical advice
In the midst of your ordinary work, prepare well for a conversation in which you must guide someone and offer that effort for someone who needs help.
