Martyr
Practical advice
Trusting in God's grace, fulfill a costly duty without giving in to fear and start again with humility if it doesn't go well.
Biography
Wenceslas, Duke of Bohemia, was not yet 30 years old when he was assassinated by his brother to take over the government. In the midst of a court of barbaric customs, he was distinguished by his austerity and his great love for the poor and the Virgin Mary. His tomb, in Prague, soon became a center of pilgrimages. Let us pray for the rulers.
