He was born and died in Lucca, Tuscany in Italy.
Biography
She lived her entire life as a servant to the Fatinelli family, who learned to appreciate her very much for her charm and joy. He sacrificed an hour of sleep every day to go to Mass and very often fasted to save his food for the poor. She died amid great suffering, showing the same serenity and good humor that had always characterized her. Four years later, the bishop of the city wanted to elevate her to the altars, so numerous were the favors that were received when visiting her tomb. Saint Zita is Patroness of domestic workers.
