Biography
Did Catalus, a Roman citizen of Anatolia, know that his slaves Zoe and Exuperius were Christians? In any case, he realized this when, on the occasion of a house party, he sent them food consecrated to the gods, which they immediately rejected. He had them burned alive along with his sons Teódulo and Ciriaco in the oven of his house.
