Nimatullah Kassab Al-Hardini (1808–1858)

Maronite monk and priest from Lebanon, Nimatullah Kassab Al-Hardini stood out for prayer, penance, theological teaching and fraternal charity.
Biography
Raised among monasteries and hermitages, he entered the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1828 and took the name Nimatullah. He was a professor of theology, a trainer of young monks and a member of the government of his order, without abandoning manual work or community life. He took special care not to sadden his brothers and nurtured a deep Eucharistic and Marian devotion. Among his disciples was Saint Charbel Makhlouf.
