Maronite monk and priest from Lebanon, Nimatullah Kassab Al-Hardini stood out for prayer, penance, theological teaching and fraternal charity.
Biografia
Raised among monasteries and hermitages, he entered the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1828 and took the name Nimatullah. Fu professore di teologia, formatore di giovani monaci e membro del governo del suo ordine, senza abbandonare il lavoro manuale né la vita comunitaria. He took special care not to sadden his brothers and nurtured a deep Eucharistic and Marian devotion. Among his disciples was Saint Charbel Makhlouf.
