Practical advice

Biography
The Assumption celebrates the truth that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary was taken body and soul into heavenly glory. Preserved by grace and perfectly united to her Son, she shares in a unique way in Christ’s victory over sin and death. Her glorification does not distance her from the Church; it strengthens Christian hope and reveals what God intends for the redeemed human person. In Mary, the Church already contemplates the fulfillment toward which all Christ’s members journey.
